Giving back has always been vital to Roy Oswalt. Fund 44 is the charity he created to help those who need it.

In 2007, Roy and Nicole Oswalt established Fund 44, a charitable fund,
to assist organizations both in their home state of Mississippi and across the country. In addition to providing annual gifts to several children's charities such as the Garth Brooks Children's Charity, the fund has made contributions to the Gulf Coast Ike Relief Fund and Aid Judan. In 2009, Fund 44 will be teaming up with the Ronald McDonald House to provide assistance with their local programs in Jackson, Mississippi.

The Ronald McDonald House in Jackson, Mississippi, provides a comfortable place for families to stay while their child is being treated for a serious illness at a nearby hospital. The house in Jackson has 16 rooms and is a 5 minute walk to the hospital. This year marks their 20th year of service. Full time staff members operate the house 24/7 with the help of a number of volunteers.
